Dagmar Lucak, formerly Jeschek, is a masterful artisan with over two decades of experience creating exquisite hand-stretched leather masks. Her passion for this unique art form started in 1999, and since then, she has sold more than a hundred masks, each one a testament to her exceptional talent.

Despite experiencing setbacks such as the theft of some of her work in a gallery break-in known as "The Found Five" and the heartbreaking loss of her art in a fire in 2018, Dagmar has remained undeterred. In fact, she collaborated with world-famous woodcarver Pete Ryan, known for his work on "Saw Dogs," to create a stunning ten-piece collection of leather stretchings.

In 2021, during the lockdowns in British Columbia, Canada, where Dagmar resides, she returned to creating her masterpieces. Her newly updated website, Dagmar's Expressions, allows art enthusiasts to explore her past and present one-of-a-kind creations, including her remarkable leather masks.

Dagmar's talent and creativity are truly remarkable, and her leather masks are a testament to her skill and passion for her craft. Her work is not only visually striking but also a unique and personal expression of her artistic vision.
